$300 on husband, $300 each on kids (x2). $1500 for all christmas. There isn't a specific number because my 13 year old wants something more expensive than my 7 year old so he gets more. I believe he has 8 gifts under the tree and my daughter only gets 2 this year, her ipod and something else.

easily, you are able to spend regardless of you're conveniently in a position to locate the money for. For my husband and that i, this is approximately $a hundred (and that grow to be quite stretching it this 365 days relatively) that we are spending on our daughter - she is two. We supply our daughter 3 presents (for the reason that's what share Jesus gained) that she would be waiting to savor (this 365 days an aquadoodle - $20, a faucet-a-track drum - $10, and an animal sounds flashlight - $7). and then the the remainder of the presents we supply (frequently 2 or 3 added ones) are clothing (we are giving her 2 clothing and a pair of pair of denims). it is her third Christmas! Wow, it quite is stressful to have faith! next 365 days, although, we could have yet another toddler (due in March), and which will in basic terms be spending $50 consistent with toddler. whilst they become old and desire issues like sport platforms or ipods, they are going to ought to artwork for them and keep their money because of the fact there is not any way that we would ever have the capacity to locate the money for to furnish each and every toddler $500 properly worth of stuff for Christmas! it is not approximately what you spend, this is approximately being jointly as a kin and worshiping our Lord.

I don't have any kids, but, a few years ago, I saw a neighbor taking out his post-holiday trash (boxes, gift wrap, etc), and I noticed he was smiling, but teary. Curiosity got the better of me, so I went outside in my robe and slippers (just as he was!), and asked him about it.
The previous day, his kid opened up a present that had a teddy bear he had asked for, and was as happy as could be! The following morning, while the family was eating breakfast and watching a news program on TV, a reporter told the plight of a citizen's group whose toy-laden truck, destined for needy, area kids, was stolen. Apparently, the boy took the story to heart, and, tearfully, asked if he could give his teddy to one of the kids. Naturally, the parents were touched. The next day, the father took the boy to the store where he bought the teddy bear, and bought another one, which was then given to the citizen's group. Afterwards, the boy had become so selfless, that he asked his folks to give his toys directly to the citizen's group. Needless to say, he got what he wanted, in all respects!
Tis the season . . .

Depends on the size and price of the gift. Like my youngest son is getting over 75 hot wheel cars that I found on sale a couple months back. But my oldest is only like getting 2 or 3 transformer toy presents. They are bigger toys and cost significantly much more money.

Well, my husband and I try to ge the kids a few gifts. We usually try to get them one big gift then a few small items. Like this year they are getting a V-tech to hook up to the TV and a few games then little cars and toys as stocking stuffers. But we are blessed with lots of family. So, the usually also get gifts from both sets of grandparents, and all ther aunts and uncles).

I'm a single mom with 3 kids, I make sure they have 2 from me and one from Santa, stocking usually have candy and very inexpensive, small gifts.
We also usually try to get one angel from the Angel Tree if we can afford it.
8-10 is so excessive, you lose the meaning of Christmas there.

We usually only give 4 per child, cause the way our families are they go over board for us. But this yr I was blessed with a great job so we ourselves bought them more, but we where smart and split the gifts between 3 homes, my parents, my husbands parents and our house so they dont get them all at once. So at each home our girls get 3 gifts. So in total from US our girls get each 10 plus 5 in their stockings. HAPPY HOLIDAYZ

I got 20 for my son and 12 for my daughter. She got less b/c her presents were a little more pricey since she's older and my son is only 1. On top of the presents there are also a whole bunch of stocking stuffers. I got my b/f 3 things and a stocking ♥

It depends.... lots of presents if they're cheap ones.
Or, they might get just a couple big presents.
This year, my son (age 6) is getting about 10-15 presents.
My daughter (age 1) is getting about 5.
