oldmarine - Who cares what he was doing when he was six? He's a Christian and has been for years...and quoting a Bible text in no way validates your arguement, in fact it only shows your bias.

So, 007.. by your failed logic, if your last name was McVeigh, I would have every right to believe you have plans to blow up a federal building with potting soil in the near future..right?

Lou - That's rediculous. You can't hold someone accountable for their upbringing once they are a successful adult.

Obama Sr. was a brilliant man who held a graduate degree from one of our nations most prestigious universities. this is more than anyone can say for the elite candidates, who bought their way through college. Barack is an intelligent man, and his background of having had lived in Indonesia is an asset in the world today. We need a president who, unlike Bush, actually knows where other continents and their respective nations are located on the map. Barack Obama's father was an Atheist, as most educated intelligent people are. His mother moved to Indonesia to help the poor, unlike the elite women who raised the other candidates and their silver spoons. This makes for a man with good character, and character has nothing to do with religion or lack there of.

Thinking it doesn't make it true. It's not what people think it is what facts do they have to back it up. There is no evidence that proves he is or ever was a Muslim. If there was evidence you can believe it would be all over the news and Internet. Fox news had to retract their lies so you can't count them. You also can't count false rumors with no back up. I would assume you would have to have a background check prior to running for the Congress or president. If there was something to this rumor, it would have been disclosed by now, don't you think?

I don't, but I have recently run into someone who does (or at least did). She is a nineteen year old girl, who just started at my new job a week after I did. She actually said that Obama is Iraqi, and she expressed distain for him for that reason. This indicated to me, that she also has the erronious idea that Iraq was responsible for 911, and I had previously thought that it was now common knowledge that Iraq had nothing to do with it. Apparently, I was mistaken about that. *sm*

Come on now, Given. Don't pop the NeoCons' balloon. They don't want to believe the major media, but they believe every word that comes across chain emails. Don't bother them with reality. LOL

I think it's funny that "oldmarine" says all this stuff in quotes, but never cites any links to back it up.

Gulp, Fox News had the story first and ran with it. It's not a story, but they ran with it anyway.

Lady...guess you're a reminder that there are so blinded by their own prejudice, what the read in chain emails and what Rush Limbaugh tells them, that they can't see 2 feet in front of them.

I think Barack Husein Obama would be the best candidate to create good relations with the countries we WANT to have good relations with.

And we would get the added bonus of putting the radicals in their place....

The same goes for Hillary.

Both Obama and Hillary Clinton are very well liked throughout Europe, Asia and North America... and despised by Muslim Fundamentalists because of their gender and choice of Religion.

Electing Hillary would be a sure-fire way to tell the difference between leaders who belong in the dark ages and ones that belong in our future of forged friendships.

Barack Obama would have the commanding authority of a man who is aware of Muslim Fundamentalism but not subject to it...

LOL. Looks like the morons are ducking this question, but rest assured they are still here. That old Fox News smear campaign was debunked within days but how much can you expect from a person who falls for that "Fair and Balanced" slogan anyway? You just have to consider the source and let them wallow around in their own ignorance.

Added: The fallacy with Lou's argument is he was exposed to Islam, Catholicism, and Atheism almost simultaneously while growing up. So why isn't he being "accused" of being catholic or atheist? The answer is obvious: Catholicism or atheism are not effective in smearing people.

I just found out yesterday that he was half black LOL. Now you're telling me that he grew up a muslim and now is a christian? WTF.

People will tell you that America is a free place unless you're something besides christian.

I also find it funny that the christian conservative doesn't want to have their religion question or attacked but they will go after any other religion if it doesn't agree with them.

Isn't it amazing what Hillarys staffers did with their mass e-mail campaign? He is not muslim, but that devious Hillary has got thousands believing he is.

BTW for any idiot that believes this is not true, CHECK YOUR FACTS, Hillarys Campaign asked several staffers to step down because they got caught sending the e-mails saying Obama was Muslin and out to destroy the US. (only those who were caught)

OY!! the blatant Gulliblism espoused above me is maddening....... Mark Twain's words ring true especially in this day and age...., "No one ever lost money underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

Sad thing is these fools have no idea they're voting against their own self interest!!
