The company I ordered from sent my package to my billing address instead of my mailing address. The billing address is for an apartment complex I lived at a few months ago. I went over there, and talked to the manager. She said UPS delivered another package with mine, she signed for the other package, and not mine as I didn't live there anymore. The driver scanned both as if she had signed for both, and she gave him mine back.
I've been calling UPS for two days about this, they keep saying they will call me back and haven't yet. I submitted a lost package claim on the website, because the last time I had talked to someone on the phone, she was INCREDIBLY rude. I was being very nice, I would never be rude to someone simply doing her job, and she was very condescending and hung up on me without letting me say anything.
This is a present for my boyfriend to bring to Iraq with him, I would really love to give it to him, in person, before he leaves.

I hate asking this question. I don't want to blame anyone or be angry about it, but it's important to me, and it cost me $100. If it were like 40 bucks I'd let it go, but 100 is a lot of money for a college student. I'll have to rebuy the gift if I don't get it, because I REALLY want to give it to him. It's perfect.
Should the company, who sent it to the wrong address in the first place, be at fault? Or UPS? It's also a little bit my fault, because I should have changed my billing address after I moved, but I did supply a mailing address.
I'll probably get it in a few days, but I'm just wondering what I do if I don't get it.

Yeah, I thought that the company was at fault first, but now UPS actually HAS the package, and they're being rude and not calling me back... and if they can't find it.. then it seems their fault. They lost it.
But I don't actually know they lost it yet. Just, if they did lose it.
