Mine is 5 1/2 feet and with the angel is just short of the ceiling. Perfect! That's the way I like it. And I like it pointy, with thick branches, not round with soft branches.

i'm only 5 ft tall...and i hate climbing on ladders so if the tree is too tall....i won't be able to decorate near the top or top of the tree.

I have an "add on"" one. It starts out small and you just add on till your satisfied with it. Balls look great hanging from it.
