6x^2+24x+24-5x-10-6
=6x^2+19x+8
=(2x+1)(3x+8)
so
p=2,q=1,r=3,t=8

Take it one step at a time. One major thing wrong with the answer above mine is that the guy didn't square the first expression. Remember order of operations and do each piece. Simplify, combine like terms and factor.

Additionally, it looks as though its time to let your parents and teacher know that you need extra help in math...

6(x + 2)² -5(x + 2) - 6

To simplify solution let y = (x + 1)

Then

6(y)² - 5(y) - 6

Now factor

(2y - 3)(3y + 2)

substitute (x + 1) back in

(2(x + 1) - 3)(3(x + 1) + 2)

simplify

(2x + 2 - 3)(3x + 3 + 2)

(2x - 1)(3x + 5)
