where is parthiv patel why isn,t he in the indian team?

the 22 year old is a young talent a talented batsmen and a talente d wicket keeper he has performed sooooo good in first class then why isn,t he in the indian side he shouyld be selected for the australian tour

Hey Haneef, actually this is the question that most of them are asking in India. He has been in tremendous form of late, and he has been scoring heavily in domestic matches. But the problem is that most other domestic batsmen are in excellent form too, unfortunately for him. There is a strong recommendation to have Akash Chopra, Manjoj Tiwari, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, S Badrinath and many many more including Parthiv Patel. And also, not to forget that there is a strong batting order that even Yuvraj Singh is finding tough to find a place...lol..

The Indian team has many batsmen to choose now, but no good strike bowlers emerging from domestic matches. Most of the bowlers seem average :)

Well,Right now he's fightin his life out in the Ranji trophy matches so that he gets a place in the team but i doubt he'll be able to make it back coz right now the Indian battin doesn'y look like it needs any help and as far as a keeper,India has the captain Dhoni lookin after that duty and he looks much more flexible and he is stronger as a keeper and we have Dinesh Karthik as a sub keeper so i don think we need Parthiv any mor.Maybe if One o our keepers or both are injured or uncomfortable,We can bring Patel back for sometime and then decide his selection later..........................

He is talented, but there are so many talented cricketers in India. Some of them will get a chance to play & unfortunately many of them will miss out.
That has happened with Parthiv this time. He was almost there. He has been doing a good job both with gloves & bat in domestic cricket. Dhoni & Karthik are also doing good . So the competition is tough & some talented players will have to sit back & wait for their turn.

Another very talented person, Murali Karthik also missed out because of Kumble & Harbhajan.

Parthiv has been a very gutsy player. If you just look at him, you will say , ohh he's a kid & he can't handle the pressure at international level but he has proved his critic wrong & has proved that 'SIZE DOESN'T MATTER'.

Though Parthiv Patel has done exceptionally well in domestic matches, selectors gave preference to international experience than domestic performance and preferred Dinesh Karthik and Virender Sehwag to Partjiv Patel.. He will defenitely get a chance if he continues his excellent performance.

i think indian team is very sufficient of having two wicketkeepers in the sides. Dhoni and Karthick. though the latter has failed to deliverin recent matches, iam sure he can comeback again and may be pathiv patel would have scored runs in domestic matches but he is so poor behind the stumps

Selecters will choose playerss on whom lot of advertisement money is riding. Virender S is example, failure in domestic and internation matches (REcent), he was picked in team.

Simple logic, advertisers have invested too much in these players and they want to cover their costs. Often you will see big plaers defending each other, in order to save their place.

Coming back P Patel, he still has chance to make into team. This time he has to wonders to pass Doni & Kartik.

bcoz there is also 2 talented wicketkeeper n batsman dhoni and kartik and both are good and agresive then parthiv.
And there r also many good batsman in team then there no need of parthiv
