In this struggling economy, many, many people just dont have much money. Its very tough out there! I think that you are just too materialistic. When my mom was a kid, her family was poor. On Christmas, she and her brothers and sisters got an orange, or some other gift from the heart. They were very excited on that day. In these modern times, kids want an iPod or other expensive gift. These gifts take away what Christmas is all about. It's about the birth of a baby so humble, He was born in a stable. Too many miss the TRUE meaning of Christmas, including, obviously, you. I think you should do some thinking about your in-laws' monetary situation, and please try to understand that times are pretty tough out there. If she didn't have any money to buy your daughter something, BUT she said she would in a week or two. then please accept it, and be happy. Think it over, and you will know I am making sense here. As

If you wanted to be divorced by 2008 you could go to some booby-bar, get ***-faced with the money and blow it all on lap dances. If it's a significant amount, you could even buy a few rounds and take out some of the "ladies" to dinner.
If you'd like to stay married and make your wife happy, put half of it in a savings account to take her to somewhere exotic on vacation and blow the rest on her wining and dining her and take her out shopping.
I would just like to note that we women make significantly less that men. It takes a truly gallant gentleman who kisses his wife tenderly and tells her to go have fun with her well deserved end of year bonus. (I won't write what it will do to your sex life, but let your imagination loose!)

I say you shouldn't be spending her bonus SHE worked for...get a job and then next year you will have YOUR OWN christmas bonus to spend...and it will give you a year to decide what it should be spent on!

However your wife tells you to spend it. If she gives it to you for a gift, then spend it on something for both of you, like a nice evening out, or something romantic.

Ask your wife...it's her bonus.
EDIT:
When she married you, she did NOT sign anything stating you could spend HER money without (at the least) consulting her first.

Hah. Don't you think your WIFE should spend HER Christmas bonus, or you should at least spend it together?

hahaha...Man I wish I could do that too!
But I don't want to be like you!
Let her spend it. On second thought, buy her clothes or some perfumes using her own money!!! hahahaha
