why would you ask for a girls number and not call her ???!!!!

Actually I would like to turn that question around on you and ask why would you ask for a girls number and not call her?!
It's happened to me once and I just figured he lost my number or he has a girlfriend.

If I gave you my number without knowing you, I was drunk which means I most likely won't even remember it in the morning. So I wouldn't care.
