unsavory trio. President Eisenhower warned against the "military machine" Ike should know, he was an honorable military man and a patriot

The United States of America is in its darkest days, having unconstitutionally, illegally, unjustifiably and immorally invaded another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked America.

This insane, obscene, repulsive 'war' was waged for three really lame and selfish objectives:
1. The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein ever since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was criticized, ridiculed and humiliated for "not finishing the job" and ousting Hussein at that time. George W. Bush was selected to be President so he could 'settle the score' and 'get even' with Hussein;
2. Dick Cheney coveted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands;
3. The giant U.S. military-industrial complex [which Dwight Eisenhower warned us about] needed a new 'war' to boost its sagging profits from too many years of peace.

Bush lied to Congress, hoodwinked a grief-stricken American public, and conned our courageous U.S. troops into believing there was honorable purpose in this 'war'.

675,000 Iraqis and 3,900 U.S. soldiers have given their lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists, oil barons and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful.

Two former oilmen with links to the oil industry now occupy the Oval Office and started a 'war' in an oil-rich nation. Now the #1 non-military Bush benchmark forces the Iraqi Parliament to surrender two-thirds of Iraq's oil fields to foreign oil companies, allowing Exxon-Mobil and other corporations to virtually STEAL Iraq's most valuable economic resource.

The two newest government contractors have bellied up to the federal war trough and collected BILLIONS in profits: the Carlyle Group and Halliburton both have direct ties to the Bush-Cheney White House. Does anyone in his right mind truly believe this is all just 'coincidence'?????

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and all their war-mongering friends deserve a special oil-soaked, blood-splattered corner of Hell where they can rot eternally, along with:

535 members of the most arrogant, incompetent, wicked, slothful, contemptible, corrupt Republican-led Congress in U.S. history that stood by and watched Bush run rip shod over our Constitution

-AND-

535 members of the most arrogant, incompetent, wicked, slothful, contemptible corrupt Democratic-led Congress in U.S. history that promised to end this vile 'war' if elected, and - to date - have done absolutely nothing to keep that promise.

MAY GOD DAMN THEM ALL!!!! -RKO- 12/21/07

first of all, a president can no longer pardon himself. 2d, the others have not been accused of a criminal offense that could require pardoning. yet, I doubt if he might concern the style of blanket pardon--being at present day worried approximately his legacy. chuck_junior's element isn't maximum marvelous: show A is the pardon of Richard Nixon via Gerald Ford. President Ford pardoned Nixon for "any crimes he might have devoted" on an identical time as in workplace. Nixon hadn't been criminally or in a nicely mannered way charged with something (yet), much less convicted.

Absolutely. They are all war profiteers who avoided Vietnam.
They aren't protecting us from anything. No Iraqi is taking away our freedoms. BUSH is. No Iraqi was on the 9/11 flights, Bush's friends the Saudi's were. No Iraqi links to Al Qaeda, no WMDS. Meanwhile they bankrupting the USA forever with their insane war spending.

Impeach them all.

No...would you have asked this question after September 11th or right after the Iraq invasion? Everyone was onboard with this....Democrats...Republicans and the American people. The President had to make some tough decisions about Iraq. Sure...there have been some mistakes...but there a mistakes in every war. Just try to remember how you felt right after the invasion of Iraq. If you think that President Bush and his staff enjoy seeing people die so they can get ricer.....then you have lost all credibility.
