Hi levels of CO2 will kill off most insects. If its completely sealed, it is another option id throw in the ring.

I just read an article on one of the science sites I visit. Even fleas do not survive going through a vacuum cleaner. I would imagine, though, that if any pest eggs got vacuumed up whole, you may have a chance of critters growing in the bag.

The best way to control insects, something that is non-toxic and is used by professionals is diatomaceous earth. You can buy this at any nursery. If you're worried about bugs living in the vac bag, just sprinkle a bit of DE on the floor and vacuum it up.
