Well, i always think about those old Christmas days when you open the door and there are old carolers and it's snowing, a turkey in the oven, your family with you while someone plays noel on the piano and everyone singing. Off course, that's just a thought. I do like going to Christmas eve mass then hitting Peninsula (if you live in manila, PH) for some dessert then a Christmas party the next day. Sadly, i can't remember the Christmases that i spent with my mom and dad, i can't seem to remember it anymore.

You are the man Master C. Thanks, that is too awesome.
I'm kind of bummed because I'm getting no love from youtube on things that I know haven't been experienced by you guys yet. For instance, I wanted to show the Rattlesnakes (defunked from the San Diego/L.A. area, Corona really) to Master C. I wanted to find Polvo for Huevo who may have heard them, but I'm not sure (which there is some, but not what I was looking for).
I was thinking Mike might like this, but it's a total crapshoot:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEya2f-mt1U
it takes a second to get going, but it's a cool tune.
I'm going to try again in a while, maybe I can get some new ideas.
Happy Hollidays everybody!

Merry Christmas everyone!
I've posted to two people, several links...hope that's OK!
Darth and Sarah. I know you've gotten into the Krautrock band Eloy lately. Thought you'd enjoy some Grobschnitt, Frumpy, Epitaph, Birth Control, Novalis, Guru Guru, Lucifers Friend as well. They were popular bands in Germany back in the 70's:
This is a performance of Grobschnitt's epic 1974 'Solar Music' done live in 1978:

Prof:
You only need one song, and it's a Christmas one!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAdHonxZxQ0
***I'm glad you like it prof! I'm going to be at the game on Monday. I'll take a big sign that says "What Up R&P Regulars!!!" We'll see if we get some MNF recognition.
Let me know if you ever do find The Rattlesnakes. I'd be interested in hearing them.

I'm going to tag along on Sookie's idea and lament the fact that in the foolishness of my youth, I know of probably nothing that my fellow R&P'ers aren't fully aware of.
However, I would like to share this AWESOME video with you all;

This is such a great question...unfortunately I have no idea how to answer it. I think everyone knows about the music I know - it sucks being out of the loop.
While I'm here, though, I thought I would share a holiday song...literally...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kV427v44QY
Hope you & the family have a great one! :)
Edit: BC - they were awesome, and I'm definitely going to look into them. Thanks so much for passing the link along!
Have a wonderful holiday! :)

Well, considering I look to all of YOU for my music insight, I've really got nothing.
However, those of you who know me, know I love me some Dave Matthews Band. A lot.
So, with that said, here's a Dave Matthews Song for all of you. :) Give 'em a chance - they're wonderful songwriters.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!
