Must be the growth hormones they are giving to the cattle these days, it's feminizing the American men in years gone by a husband would beat a man who harmed his wife within inches of his life, if the feminizing of our men is not stopped this great nation will fall, take heed the end is near lol.. leave him and find a man who will provide for and protect his family...

A spouse is kind of like a therapists, they should always hold unconditional, positive reguard and want what's best for you. Why doesn't your husband believe you? By not believing or caring, he has invalidated you and your feelings. Sit down with your husband and talk about this. Ask questions like, why dont you believe me? Do you care? Does my physical and emotional well being matter to you? Aslo acknowlege his feelings: Why do you want to be friends with this man? Would you still be friends with him if you caught him hurting me?
He's gambling on your safety. If at the end of the conversation he doesn't believe you or care enough about your safety, it's time to end the marriage, even if you love him. There was something in the marriage vows "honor and protect her". By engaging in this friendship he is doing neither.

Your husband is a jerk and shouldnt have been your husband in the first place. He needs to get a life. Is that the only person he can be friends with? Why would he want someone that hurt you around you? I smell Counseling or divorce.

Well ur husband doesn't care or doesn't believe u so right there tells u to question ur marriage. If I was w/ someone and they hung around a person that treated me badly like that, damn right he'd have a choice to make. If he chose not to believe me then I'd leave. What's more important this friendship or our lives?!
Ur husband doesn't love u, if he did this guy woulda never been his friend!

first off, you are suppose to be first in your husband's life and if you say someone hurts you, he should be looking into it he should not be putting it off as if you are lying. a husband is suppose to protect his wife not make her unsafe or fee unsafe. that's a BIG NO! NO!. You need to tell the police or if you have older brothers or uncles get them to whip both they @ssess.
But seriously if you don't feel safe with your husband, there's no trust and w/o trust you can't have a good marriage. get out if you need to

How does your husband treat you otherwise? I mean if he has respect for you and what happened then he should not befriend this person who hurt you physically. Is this a pattern of how he treats you?

You should be number one to your husband and he should put your first. The fact he is brushing you aside like that and not taking your feelings into consideration is a big no no.

I've been in a situation like this before. And the lack of respect my ex had for me was enough to tear my esteem to shreds. Did I mention that he is MY EX??? I will never be with someone who does not love me 100%! Trusts me with his whole heart, & puts me above his friends.... ever again!
