would it be possible if i took the 6g75 engine out and put an evo 8 4g63t engine in it.

ya but it is a lot of work i whould just sell it and get a gsx or the evo or the gst but the new thing that i am goin to do is take the evo x motor witch is the 4b11 and put it in my 97 gsx bec that motor is nasty but what i whould do with your car is turbo it bec it is a v6 i know someone that did it to thers and it is runnin high 12s with only turbo on stock internals

anything is possible,
the real question is if it is worth it or not.
I suggest that you
sell the 2007 eclipse GT and
either get a pre 2000 eclipse with a 4g63t in it already,
or go get an EVO
it will cost you way less by the time you get done.

Here's the short version. No, because the transmissions are completely different. The mounts are different as well. Everything is different. Take a look at the shop manual (not a crappy haynes one, the one from Mitsubishi that dealers use) for the 06+ eclipse and you'll see for yourself.
