My experience is that MY life has gotten better over the last 40 years. What the next couple of decade will bring is a lot less certain. In sum, I'd say there is a good chance that your life will get better, at least until a physical and/or mental decline makes life an overwhelming challenge.

Better than what? Better in that you will get more money? Better in that you will get more food, a bigger house, more holidays, someone to love you?

If you want it to get better, then look at what you have - money, possessions, time - and give as much away as you possibly can. Can't do that? Then no, your life will continue pretty much as it always has.

Yep. If you look at your life so far, and everyone's lives, you will see that life goes up and down, constant cycles, and that whether things are good or bad, things always change with time. Hold on, hang tight.
