In most average for 62 of age, 70 to 90. As long is good health condition.

It used to be thought that heart rate increases with age. This is no longer the medical opinion. In a health man of any age, a resting pulse of 60-70 is ideal. An athlete would have a lower resting pulse rate.

You should only measure the pulse after several minutes sitting without exertion.
