Yesterday my brother called me up and said he had two tickets for a concert and wanted me to go. I initially said no because he always finds a way to get into trouble, but he promised to be good so I agreed to it. We had a few drinks before the show so we could really feel the music, but he continued drinking and got smashed. He did behave himself for the most part and I was proud of him. When the show was over he found me in the crowd and told me he had met a girl and was going to get a ride home with her. I didn't object, so I went home without him and went to bed.
This morning I woke up and found him passed out in the backyard, beaten, bruised, shirtless and handcuffed. I quickly drug him into the house and noticed two puncture wounds on his back, so I think he got the taser. Should he turn himself in? He had no wallet last night so the cops didn't get his ID. No one knew who he was and I know he didn't tell them his name. Anyone know how to get handcuffs off? What should I do?

NO.
I dont think the cops dumped in our yard, I'm pretty sure he escaped arrest some how. And the are definately puncture wounds. And yes, he is a pretty bad mofo.

NO.

If he got handcuffed and tasered by the police, they would not have dumped him in your backyard. In any case, if he did not have his wallet, how would the police know where he lived?

Tasers do not leave puncture wounds. They may leave burn marks if they hit bare skin.

You can saw the handcuffs off or try to break the locking mechanisms with a sledge hammer. Better yet, leave the handcuffs on until you get him into rehab.

Most handcuff don't have real locks. You can try with a thick wire (a paper clip for example, the big ones) and jiggle with it to release the latch. The handcuff "key" is just a lever.

On the rest of your problem... you're on your own.

I usually don't take the cop's side because they overreact 99.99% of the time. But if you're brother was arrested for real criminal activity (robbery, assault, rape, murder) I hope he gets caught soon.
Go see a lawyer.

Like he said, your bro is a bad mofo......if they have no ID or know who he is, then they can't prove it was him, until the taze marks go away anyways. Not sure about the handcuffs. I watched the new movie "Rescue Dawn" and they rigged cuffs. Looked easy, but hard to explain. Go rent it.

Your brother must be a bad MF if he escaped from police custody after being handcuffed and tasered. I would not do anything to make him angry. However, you should not really assist him in anyway b/c you will be guitly of aiding and abetting.
