Sounds like she has an "emotional friend." My wife went through that phase for awhile. Not much you can do but ride it out and be the better person.

I had this same situation a couple years ago. It was only part of the problem though. I would check her phone when she was sleeping or in the shower but she almost always deleted them. She was also very careful about keeping the phone close to her. I was able to get the number off of the phone bill. I even went as far as calling the phone company to see if I could get copies of the text messages but was told that they are not kept on file. When I asked her about it she would always tell me that it is nothing but when there are over 100 text msgs a day at 2 and 3 in the morning then something is going on. Do yourself a favor and kick her to the curb now. She is hiding something for a reason.

Explain to her how this makes you feel and then ask her what they are talking about. Odds are if you approach it like that, she'll show you the texts on her own.
If that doesn't work, and only if that doesn't work, I'd snoop. Just be forewarned. You may find that she was just trying to get a guys perspective on your relationship. Maybe there's something going on that she doesn't understand, and for whatever reason she's not getting the answers she needs from you.

I am a wife and my best friend is a single guy! Let me ask you a question! What is wrong with your wife texting a single guy? If you don't trust her don't you think there is a much bigger problem at hand. If I was you I woulds simply ask her why she feels a need to text him if you have a problem. Honesty is always the best policy when it comes to marriages!

You want to find out what they are talking about? The question here is WHY is she texting this guy??? Not right man!! I would ask her why??? Been married for over 20yrs. I would find it disrespectful, dishonest towards my husband and my self! So my question to my husband would be str8 forward with....Why are you texting another women??? I am sure after so many yrs. together my husband would come right out and ask me the same question! It's called communication!!! You shouldn't have to try and find out on your own, you should come right out and ask her what this is all about?? Put her on the spot, she is your wife and she owes you an anwer. You then be the judge by her reaction if she is telling you the truth or not! Good Luck! Merry Christmas!

Hahaha I did this and now I'm w/ this guy and love him to bits. I'd question ur relationship cuz I know mine was not good and that's why I'm leaving my husband for this man and I to be together, he showed me what true love actually was!
U can ask her and hope she's honest, but I know when my husband asked me at first I was not honest not until the 3rd day of constant emails and texts.

do you know what operator, i.e. cingular, tmobile, verizon, that single guy is using..?
if so, then you can approach these operators and ask if it's possible to acquire some SMS which were saved in their SMSCs.. SMSCs are the box which forwards the SMS..
more technical way of doing is to buy a tool which can monitor over the air interface, mobile phone --> cellsite..
