Menopause sucks, huh? I had a hysterectomy due to cervical cancer as well as chemo and radiation. Instant menopause. I felt my whole life went out of control. I would wake up with sweats so bad my bed would be soaked. I had no sex drive, pain during sex, lack of lubrication...etc.
My doctor put me estrogen only (as I have no equipment) and after about a month and a half, I have very few sweats, my hot flashes have all but disappeared and life is more or less back to normal. The only thing that still plagues me are the mood swings, and they are getting to be fewer and fewer.
Ask your MD about hormone replacement therapy.

go to your doctors and ask for hrt. hormone replacement therapy. works wonders. been on them 8 years. just come off them and sweats have gone, but still get hot about 6 times a day for a few minutes.

there are special pads that are deodorized these days .ask at you chemists or ask the doctor ,she/he can give you tablets that may help. i know yo said menopause but i am 66 and use the pads for reassurance

menopause can be a really uncomfortable time, suggest you do some research on DHEA, I did, and I use it religiously.
