Christmas Parades, Caroling lib tunes, going bonkers at bingo (instead of shouting BINGO they shout Vote Ron Paul)....

Good Lord! I was seriously considering voting for this guy but cripes, does that make me a nut too if I do?

Besides, I'm beginning to wonder if any other politicians in the branches of government will support doing away with income taxes. If they don't, what platform will Ron Paul have?

The thing is, some of his supports are crazy, but don't let them scare you away. He's a great candidate, and if you agree with him, vote for him.

As for income taxes. I agree that there is really no way he's going to be able to get rid of them completely, the president does not have that much power, and should not. But I guarantee that he will be able to at least drastically cut taxes, and that is much better than the rest of the bunch who seem to be content with spending more.

Also, remember that he will be holding the veto power, so he will not approve any unbalanced budget. He will not approve any tax increases, and he WILL bring our troops home.

i do not imagine he's nuts, I basically imagine he's incorrect. Ron Paul is largely suggesting that we let each state undertake its personal separate lifestyle, its personal guidelines, its personal each little thing. choose segregation and a ban on females showing their ankles in public and a curriculum that teaches that Jesus rode on dinosaurs? flow for it. choose legal heroin and prostitution? flow for it. ...which in truth places us on the line to civil conflict as some thing we ever had equivalent to a coherent nationwide lifestyle falls aside. yet possibly it truly is what Paul needs: the dissolution of america right into a group of anarchic tribal gadgets.

They are not all nuts but extreme views attract extreme people. I think Ron Paul has some good ideas but he would have no power to set them in place in Washington. The old ideas are too deeply entrenched. Now if we could send some Senators and Representatives with the same ideas we'd be somewhere. All the other politicians shout they want change HA HA now here is a guy who means real change I do not think you are nuts if you vote for him. If enough people vote for him I think a message will be sent. AS to whether it will be heard--doubtful.

No it doesn't make you a nut...vote for who you want to.

I've seen Bush supporter waiving flip flops at passing cars on the side of the road.

I've seen people dressed like Hillary at a local parade...(yikes)

Ron Paul supporters are a very diverse bunch. People on both sides of the fence are deserting to support Ron Paul. Most people who support him do so because they are so fed up with the growing taxes growing government and unnecessary wars...they want real change from someone they can trust to do what they say they are going to do.

Don't judge the man by who supports him, ...if that is the case then you couldn't logically vote for any candidate, because chances are there's a few wacko's voting for them too.

You better hope not, because I like Paul and I'am a firefighter. So when I'm cutting you out of a car after an accident I hope I don't have one of my crazy episodes where I envision an America that is fiscally responsible and has an intelligent President.

Personally i feel that anyone that supports either the Republican parties candidates or the Democratic candidates aren't only nuts, they're ignorant. How can you not see what the politicians are doing to us? Do you feel like our country is in good shape right now? Are you really happy with our foreign policy? I think those of you that support what our President has done in the last eight years need to start thinking for yourselves, because that's the only way this country will ever live up to the potential it has......AAAAAAAH THAT FELT GOOD!

I am a Ron Paul supporter and we're not all "nuts" as you like to say. We just believe in a better country than who and what has been running our country for the last 16 years.

Ron Paul is the way to go and if you disagree, go ahead and vote for any other candidate who has never flip flopped on issues, who doesnt have any dirt on the internet about them, who doesnt use religion as their foundation of their campaigns and you'll be fine...

HINT: There arent any as clean as Ron Paul...

Ron Paul is the brother of Peter Paul, the candy maker. Ron was unduly influenced by his brother constantly repeating "sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you dont".
Hence Ron feels like a nut.

Ron Paul is popular because he seems to have no hidden agenda (at least Bill O'Reilly can't find one). He speaks from his heart (like Ross Perot did), OBVIOUSLY believes in what he's talking about, is under the impression that what he says can actually be done, and people tend to like that.

Why do you think the pope is so popular?

So I am a nut too!!! I totally agree with Congressman Ron Paul.

I thought the deal was a few years ago to make GOVERNMENT smaller! But it just got bigger and more complicated with more taxes to pay for junk outside the USA for world citizens.
