Question about a Bruce Springsteen Video.?

In the springsteen video , Santa Clause is coming to town, near the end why was bruce springsteen laughing. I had heard the clarence clemons had come on stage wearing a santa clause suit Is this true.

i know the song was released as the b side to My Hometown from the BITUSA record. i haven't saw the video in like 20 years. i searched youtube for it, but only came up with live versions of the song. my guess, is that clarence did in fact don a santa hat in the video. seems like something he would do.

Don't know but who ever is doing the hoo ho ho my be the cause of it. Love that song.
