No...
But I'm still in the running for "Employee of the Decade..."
If I can just get that other guy to do something stupid like...
Light the boss' chair on fire...or...
Kick his wife out of my bed and get her to go back to him...
I've got a chance...

I was once Employee of the Year. The moron of the month thing might work...but more than likely it would encourage people to do enough to just pass. It might be funny though.

I think that every company should have not only this, but "Employee of the Week", and then those 4 employees would all face off for employee of the month, might increase productivity and keep morale up!

I've never worked at any place that had "employee of the month"
I was never even "student of the month" in high school... though, I was "Noon Kiwanis Student of the Month" my senior year. I got to go eat ham and green beans with a bunch of old guys at the Holiday Inn.
My principal drove me there... he looked a lot like William H. Macy.

I've been employee of the month several times over the years at several different companies. Oddly enough, I worked one place where we had a big dunce hat in the department and when you did something stupid, it got placed on your desk. It stayed there until someone did the next stupid thing. It was fun.

OUCH!
I don't think that would be very nice, but your productivity and turnover rates would porbably go up for two reasons. 1) People hate being humiliated and 2) People hate being humiliated.
Good Luck with that.
And no I have never been Employee of the Month. I work in retail and I never meet my credit goal. I hate asking people if they want to open a charge account. I figure if they want it they will ask for it.

When I'm employee of the month I get to keep whatever I can't sell.
Nice.
Nothing like a white Christmas.

I bought a t-shirt that says Employee of the Month and wore it to work, unofficially declaring myself Employee of the month. Does that count?
