If so, then why do countless numbers of women insist on dieting down to the point where they have no ****, no ***, no curves? This doesn't make any sense to me.
I have a feeling that most women assume men like stick figures, otherwise, they'd work on HAVING curves, not losing it.
What say you?

The fashion industry has caused women to become confused about what is a good weight. Fashion designers started hiring really thin models because they wanted people to see their clothes, not the models. People saw these models and incorrectly thought that if the fashion designers liked them, they must be attractive, because they didn't realize that the designers actually wanted "walking coat hangers" instead of attractive women that would distract people (especially the men) from the products that they were displaying. They did a study a while back and found that women thought that a size 4 was ideal but men preferred a size 10. Of course, this was about ten years ago and you may or may not have noticed that women's clothing sizes have gone down in number for the last 10 years so if they did the same study today it would probably be 0 and 6 or something like that.

I would assume that in terms of "meat on their bones" a guy likes someone who is "filled out in the right places." Not all over huge, or sickly skinny. You can be petite with curves or full figured with "curves." Most women diet down to those sizes because of insecurities and they are trying to look like the next lindsey lohan or paris hilton what have you. But some women do it for health reasons.
So anyways... it depends on the guys... LOL.

I think that these all goes to show one thing. The media plays a bigger role in influencing us than men do. The opinion of men counts very little at the end of the day, it's that simple! Anoroxia, Bulimia, which man ever said he was attracted to that? No man did. So yeah, thank the media. To everything in life, there are extremes. Even in religion, there are extremists who kill in the name of God. Fanatics. Just like that, in our time and age, when glamour and everything superficial has reached its peak, this is what you get - fanatics. Diet fanatics. Stick-thin figures walking around, killing themselves day by day. Sad, no?

I certainly hope this is true--my husband assures me it is, and I hope he means it, because with me pushing 50, that's the reality of it!
The media is responsible for most of the distorted body image that women have. That, and the way most fashions are designed. I have a hard time finding clothes that fit my curves without looking either trashy or frumpy. Most fashions these days are designed for about a 00 size!

Yes, it's true that most men like women having a sexy and curvy figure. The only problem is that the goal of having a curvy and sexy figure is not at all easy for women to attain.

Women don't do this for men, they do it for their own social status inside female society and to show that they have control. It is a weird way for them to display their own ability to control their own lives. It is flawed though, because what they are actually showing is that other women have the power to force them to create freaks out of themselves. I like women who look slender, but there is a limit to anything and these gals in size 00 look absolutely awful.

i love women with some meat on their bones, only women think that they have to be skinny. skinny women look onhealty. I think a hot woman is one with a little bit of detail to her *** and legs. I dont care abount a tiny stomach hanging over

My husband always says "any man who wants to be with a woman built like a little boy REALLY wants to be with the little boy" I"m sure that's not true.. but as a family of Italians we appreciate nice curves.

I love thick, curvaceous black women. In fact I love the curvy thighs, the full lips, the round thick booty. I could never think of dating any other race of women other than black. I am a white man and I only date and will only marry a black lady. I love African women too if not more so.

Dieting is a competitive thing amongst women, it's got nothing to do with what men find desirable.
