Newspaper reports in Miami have surfaced detailing an impromtu meeting between Don Shula and Joey Porter. Apparently Shula reached out to Porter and begged that he do what it takes to ensure that the Dolphins play with motivation and defend their glorious history. Porter reponded by saying he wouldn't let Shula down.

As added motivation to his guarantee Joey Porter has posted a bogus column in the Miami Herald sports section saying that Tom Brady has impregnated a Miami Dolphins cheerleader

You're not funny. But I hope the Dolphins do kick the crap out of the Pats.

EDIT -- 28-7!!!

Patriots ALLOW the Dolps the 'back door cover'!!!! (THE TEAM THAT RUNS UP THE SCORE, lays down in the 2nd half, to ensure they didn't score again -- and sometimes you do that, by throwing the balls ALL over the place, like they did.. to STOP the CLOCK and allow Miami to take their time for that ONE TD they'd need to break the 24-pts Spread!!)

______

Strange things can happen, in the NFL... with the $$$ going heavily for the Patriots -- you think that recently.. the Eagles (+24), Ravens (+21), Jets (+21)... ALL covered, because they were that good? (when they are some of the weakest offenses in the NFL?). And, due to the back-to-back Eagles & Ravens covers/close shaves... how many among YOU thought the Steelers had a good chance at their +12-13 spread? (I'm still laughing at how the NFL/refs awarded THREE 5th-downs to the Pat,s at Ravens, AND gave them that last TD, which would've been a No-Catch, if it was anyone else...) The Eagles game was a laugh how AJ Feeley tossed it away late, fairly openly... and STILL no one questions how/why/when things are done? (gotta love how the NFL hides it's Point Spread backbone/business plan in PLAIN SIGHT... and everyone can't see it)

I've "won" every week with the Pats -- and right now, the Pats are set-up for a HUGE WIN in most people's eyes.

(But, I wouldn't BET on it!)

Joey Porter running his mouth again just like he did in Pittsburgh. No this won't motivate the Phins, as i am sure they already are especially know that the news came down that the Phins are adding a Tuna. Who better to beat the pats win streak. Go Dolphins

This would just motivate the Pats even more. The Dolphins are in for a pounding as it is. If I were a MIami player or fan I would keep my mouth shut and hope I get out of Foxboro with some shred of my dignity left intact.

Let me ask you, if Joey Porter could predict the future, would he have signed with Miami?

I think the 'Phins will be up at the beginning of the game and down at the end. or maybe down by the 2nd quarter

jlz, seeming how you can't spell Dolphins, you have no room to talk!
Anyone who says the Miami can't win, needs to have their head examined! Maybe not likely to win, but all professional teams have a chance to beat anybody. You are also the people who never played the game before and shouldn't pollute the air with nonsense!

I also heard that, after leaving Pittsburgh, Joey Porter suffered many heat strokes in Miami, this rendering him mentally incapacitated. That would explain why he and Shula get along so well.

Well, since it is you, this is a BS post....If it were a real poster with an honest question, I'd ask if there is something in the water in Pittsburgh...*L*...First, Anthony Smith and now former Steeler Joey Porter...

That is funny. If that is true, it gives more fuel for the Patriots to clean the field with the Dolphins. Do people ever learn from what ever his name is? The guy for the Steelers? You know, the beach warmer?
