how can i wash my clothes without them fading. i neverrrrr use bleach on my bright clothes and they still tend to fade and i even use less detergenant then needed most of the time. and i always was them in cold water. is there anything else i should do ?

Make sure you wash similar colors together (i.e. whites, darks, light colors). Also for pants, turn them inside out when washing.

They do sell a variety of color saving detergents, you could try. The best secret is to turn everything inside out prior to washing, and pick the cycle on your washer that uses the least agitation (i.e., delicate), that you can use to get them clean. Make sure you seperate you colors also. Sounds like everything else your doing is correct.

Hand wash them,,,,just a bit of detergent & no soaking overnight,,,& don't put under direct sunlight to dry & make sure you turn them inside out when drying,,,,

always set your colors in with about a half cup of vinegar when you first get them.
I don't ever even wear them first. and use no soap.then dry them in the dryer at regular heat :)

try organic detergents they do not have the chemicals in them that cause fading
