Yes, I do. It's lonely at times, but I can do whatever I want. Waste my money on silly stuff, or any save it religiously and do absolutely nothing with it, my time or my life. I can stay up late, sleep all day or walk around naked during the day or night, sleep naked, wear crazy clothes, unmatching clothes, or I could become a crossdresser and wear womens clothes or even wear my clothes inside out or whatever I want. Or I can have friends over and conform to civilized life or who knows, I might do crazy things with my friends as well. Living alone isn't all bad, but one thing is sure, I have NO ONE to blame if I am unhappy or things go wrong and most certainly have no one to steal from me or file for a divorce and take my money and/or everything I worked so hard for in my life to start all over again.

I lived alone for four years before I got married. Never once had a roomate. The first year was hard because I was lonely but I had my two cats and I did have my freedom to come and go as I pleased. I could sleep, clean, whatever at any time that I wanted. No noise, just peacefulness. Now, I have two kids a husband and a cat, and its INSANE and NOISY around here all the time, hehehee, but I love my family. Those days living alone were not bad though, sometimes I miss the peace.

Sort of.

I really grew as a person. I found myself wanting to write again, to draw and sketch again, and to really look deeply inside myself.

I didn't like everything I saw, so I was able to change a few things while I was in there...LOL!

But, the loneliness thing wears on you, slowly. I had to get a pet, which helped a lot but was obviously a responsibility. I found myself wanting to go hang out at a local bar, which was something I'd not really done before.

It was a good experience I'm glad I did for a couple years, but I was glad to move into a larger place with a roommate eventually. Learning to live with someone else who isn't family is good practice for being married, and I'm glad I did it.

There's nothing like living by yourself. You can do whatever you want without worrying that you're intruding on someone else.

Sure it may get lonely sometimes, but when I was living alone I was so busy with work and my apartment was in the commercial district so whenever I'd get bored I could just hang out.

I like having my husband at home. Once in a while he goes away on business for 3-6 days and I am so lonely.

Yes and no.

Granted, it would be nice to have someone special to come home to and sleep next to.

But also it's nice to have my own space.
