I left smoking 3 days ago and now i am having indigestion or acidity and taste of mouth has also changed. Even the taste of coffee or tea is not pleasing me. IS it normal? What should i eat or drink and how long will this remain?

the toxins are leaving your body, you will notice changes like this for the next month or so. You can help the process along by drinking lots of water, like two or three liters a day.

Congratulations on making the decision to quit.

When I quit smoking years ago, I had a lot of tastes change. For the most part, everything had so much more flavor than I remembered, this did cause me to dislike some foods and drinks that I used to love. Also, about a week after my last cigarette, I started hacking up all kinds of weird stuff and I was very congested. I had headaches and got the sweats every once in a while.

That being said, once I made it through about 3 weeks, all the negative stuff faded away and I felt healthier than I had in years. While I was suffering, I just had to tell myself that it would suck to start smoking again and be going through the quitting process again in a few months or a year. Good Luck

Smoking a decade ago changed my taste for sweets. Made them less desireable. Some of your taste may come back in time but not all of it. Also, age changes your taste buds. Things that were bitter will eventualy taste better and better. Sweets will become too sweet over time. Veggies will taste better and better over time.
