I have tattoos of revolvers on my lower stomach, and they haven't stretched at all. All my friends that have had babies who've had tattoos anywhere haven't had any problems. Even if it stretches, it goes back to normal after you've had the child. Its part of your skin now, and unless you get stretch marks on the tattoo, it should look just like it did before you got pregnant.

I have a tattoo on my left hip in the front. (Lower part of my belly) I have been pregnant twice. The first pregnancy I carried right between my hips and it stretched all out. But went back to shape after I lost the baby weight. Some of the color faded in it though. With my second pregnancy I carried a little higher so it didn't stretch to bad until he dropped. It is still a little stretched but not to bad. I don't plan on getting it touched up until I am done having children though.
Depending on how you carry will depend on how bad it stretches out. But it should go back to normal after you start to lose the extra weight you gained while pregnant. You might need to get the color touched up but that should be about it.
Good Luck and congrats

I have a friend that has a cross tattoo in that location. Now, she isnt getting any stretch marks, and the tattoo is just looking alot taller. I think hers will go back to normal. However if it was me (we are both 32 weeks), My tattoo would be stretched all to heck, because i have stretch marks all over through there... I think it will depend on if your skin breaks in the tattoo whether it changes in look after the baby

I have a tattoo of three small stars on my left pelvic bone area. When I was at the tattoo place, I asked the girl who was going to do my tattoo that in the future I want to have kids and I asked her if it would stretch and she said if I moisturize it enough, it will be ok. I mean moisturize it alot try to keep it constantly moist including the surrounding area and make sure you drink a lot of water... My friend from college also has a tattoo on her stomach and she had 2 kids and her tattoo looks fine. She showed it to us because we were having this exact conversation. You should be ok just take care of it and keep it moisturized. It should go back to normal after you have your baby. Good luck!!

Chances are it will be disfigured. Then again you might get lucky enough not to stretch too much. When I was pregnant with my first I barely showed even at 9 months and it seemed as if all of my stretching came from the sides. Chances are high that it wont go back to normal, but if you look on the bright side, it still could be! Good luck and congrats!

It really depends on the individual and your skin elasticity. But I had a friend who had a sun around her navel. Its was one of those suns that has the long curvy points. While she was pregnant, at first glance I thought she had horrifying stretch marks. Then I realized it was her tattoo. It looked better after the baby was born.

skin stretching, then going back to normal is different for everyone.
If I had a tattoo there .... it would've looked normal again after my FIRST pregnancy. But, after my SECOND pregnancy, no way. lol, it would look horrible!
It doesn't matter how much yo weigh right now. It will have to do with your skin and it's elasticity. ..... which is different for eveyone, including family members.

Sorry, but if your stretching out is cause by stretch marks then it will never look the same. Think of it as your badge of honor. I hope you have a wonderful and healthy baby!

My sister had one around her belly button. It stretched alot during pregnancy, but was fine afterwards. She might have had the colors touched up a bit, but that was it. Nowdays it looks just the same as before my niece was born.
