I'm saving up for my first one. I want to get a puzzle piece- the symbol/logo for the Autism Society of America.

I'm already thinking about my second too. I was adopted recently, so my parents are a huge miracle to me. Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton have unusual matching tattoos that have a meaning that only they know. My Mom's helping me pick out a small design..only her and Dad will know what it means. We're making it a special message type thing of how much they mean. :)

i have a tattoo. it's what's now called the "tramp stamp" on my lower back. i don't like it wish i never had it. i think cuz i got it during a time in my life when i shouldn't have and it was homemade. it's going to be real hard to fix and expensive. i've had it for five years it's a good thing none really ever see's it! i would love to get another one tho. this time it will come from a professional and not a wanna be twacked out professional. i will thikn long and hard as well before finally picking out what i want! i used to want the godsmack symbol around my belly button. thank God i didn't cuz after two pregnancys that sucker woulda stretched and ewwwww! lol

i agree with you and i want one really bad but i don't think a lot of people want someone operating on them that is covered in tattoos so since i am trying to become a surgeon that leaves limited space for a tattoo where it cannot be seen. i also do not want to get a tattoo just because i want one i want it to mean something so i am holding off for now.

Yes, I have one that runs from my wrist to above where my right elbow used to be. It's called a scar. I would never defile my body by marking it up with a tattoo.

I don't have one and don't generally care for them either. Though, I have seen some remarkable pieces of body art.

However, I'll be the last one on the planet to restrict what someone else does with their body.

Heck no. I don't think they're stupid or anything, but I think they got too meaningless. People try to make statements with them and most of them make no sense. I'm the only one in my family without one, and it's gonna stay that way. Someday, us tatooless people are going to be rare breed, and I love it. Tatoos for remembered loved ones I can accept, but I know a dude that got "BrickHouse" tatood across his chest, FN moron..

yes, I have a cardinal done in a natural style (not cartoony) the cardinal represents my father, the Christmas before he died when I was 12 he brought my grandmother a beautiful plant for a gift and in it was a fake cardinal made with feathers, then the day of his funeral, a cardinal stayed around my grandmothers house singing the whole day, so now we always think of dad when ever we see a cardinal, its on my left shoulder/back area and I love it!!!

got it done last year in florida, I do want 3 more!! a rose for my mom (still living) with a purple and green dragon fly for my grandma (still living) and a dragon on my other shoulder oh yeah and intertwined hearts with my 2 boys names in them so I want 4 more
