Baseball is bigger than the problem and I believe we will continue to see attendance set new records. With that being said, America's love affair with baseball could suffer in the future if the fans come to believe that MLB is not doing enough to fix the problems.

I do not think it will, people have accepted this for the past few years and attendance has done nothing but grow. I think it will make fans even more skeptical of the entire Baseball population. How can anyone be sure at this point that anyone is not doing something to gain an advantage. At the same point many people realize that players have been doing anything that they could for an advantage as long as Baseball has been an organized game.

No, the attendance is stronger than ever and wouldn't surprise me if it went up again next year.

The only thing that makes people stop going to games are prolonged strikes.

No.

At 79.5M in ticket sales and $6.1B in revenue, MLB could slip a little bit and not notice. But actually "suffer"? Not due to this little tempest.

I hope it goes down a bit. But it will probably remain the same, and actually grow in some cities. i.e. Boston.
