Everyone is a dickwad at Christmas. I am really trying to repress the chick I alsmot had to knock out last night in the electronics section. I swear if she rolled her eyes one more damn time at me, I was gonna poke them out with a rusty spoon.

The opposite. It depends on where I'm living too. But usually I am pleased by the actions of others around Christmas. I think people (sometimes) know that it's a hard time and try to be more patient.

Yep.....Just the other day I experienced road rage, shopping rage & angry parent rage all in less than 1/2 an hour.
I was indicating to drive into the carpark & some nut case cut me off, almost hit my car & abused ME for being a crappy driver...Go figure....
Then when I was in the toy shop,I grabbed the last TMX Elmo. This burley lady came up to me & said it was hers & that she'd justput it down to grab a basket. I told her I did'nt see her do that & it was bad luck...Well world war 3 almost broke out but I came out victorious.
Then at the checkout, some kid ran into me,apologised, but his Mum was fuming & gave the boy a huge smack,in front of everyone. And in turn started screaming at the top of his voice.
Needless to say I could'nt get out of there fast enough..
Next year i'm gunna make sure I have all my xmas shopping done in July !!!!!

Living in Oklahoma, we recently have had our fair share of weather troubles. Ok just had an ice storm & like many, our Christmas will be a good meal & a bottle of Ripple.
California lost many a home in forest fires. hundreds of thousands lost everything they had, many their close families. It goes on & on world wide, so we must try to understand their needs & not be too harsh when anger is upon you. I applaund you for even asking. Maybe it will stay fresh on our minds & we can help them in some small way! Excelsor!

Not so much - 'course I wear a Santa hat during the last couple weeks anytime I go out and it makes people smile and chat. The hat fits, it keeps me warm and it helps the folks around me, even if they are chuckling at me 'cause they might think I'm whacked.

Its about the same. The weeks leading up to Christmas though, are very stressfull, so you cant really blame them for being a bit grumpy.

Yes, people run into you and your kids with buggies and just give you a dirty look, they don't say excuse me or anything. The cashiers are even worse, they're pissed because they have to be so busy, but that's how they get paid when we buy stuff.
