No, I did not, but if I had I would have genuflected! No, not at all! Having been born into Catholicism and questioning such elaborate a Faith, especially, when the mass was given in Latin, which I could not understand. The existence of a Pope as representative of St. Peter, but yet surrounded by opulence, when the said disciple was a nomadic POOR man; I've been to the Vatican and was amazed at the possession of invaluable art by the Masters. The hypocrisy shown by priests and nuns who were my teachers, who would be so corporeally punitive. The confessions every Saturday which I simply would refuse to go to.. Since I thought no man, has the right to judge, or be privy to hear what weighs heavily upon one's soul and should be firstly examined by one's own conscience instead of absolution via a human 3rd party, etc., I was expelled at 7 years old for questioning such contradictions, which I did, although the reason for my expulsion, was written down, as : I was incorrigible so far as to draw a notebook full of apples studying them through all angles, instead of the learning of catechism, and having embroidered a coyote-like animal
with a bloody chicken caught in its' mouth and not some pleasant depiction of a house, or flower or other what-not
which did not create a shock to the system, was sufficient a crime of disrespect, worthy of having me NOT among the other children who had been made docile, un-analytical and afraid, was too dangerous a lure toward the other children, for I was deemed as subversive.
Thing was that I could see through the whole charade and would not just accept it as anything which made sense. So I severed from the Catholic church, and wandered without a religion, until at 16, I discovered the simplicity of the PHILOSOPHY of Buddhism, (for it is not a Religion) and took refuge within it, as a gesture of practicality of being and
and living, which indeed, (to me) made very much sense.
So, had I seen the "priest" running down the street, in the nude, I would probably have saluted and yelled toward him : Congratulations, although it took this long to escape the mind-reducing tactics and trappings of the Catholic Church.
But next time, remember to leave behind, also, your shoes and socks . .show your protest totally au naturel !

Didn't see the naked priest, but I did once see the guy who used to rollerblade around downtown in a tutu. :-)
