I just built a new bathroom with a sink and a shower. The sink has great pressure, but in the shower, water barely trickles out. I removed the hoses in the back, and there was a ton of pressure there, so I know its something inside the pipes of the shower. FYI, Its one of those showers with the little wall jets built in. I checked all the rubber washers, and there is no blockage. Any ideas? Thanks.

You may have the cartridge in the faucet installed upside down.

Take the shower-head off from the curved pipe.
now turn the water on observe the pressure.
if the pressure seems good. the problem is in the shower-head.some of the shower-heads have a water saving device in them. which is normally an orifice with a small hole to limit the water flow. I have drilled out the small hole to make it a little larger. if you decide to try this just enlarge the hole a little bit at the time and check the results.

Check the back of your spray nozzle to see if there is a re-stricter, small gray or black disk and remove it. This will increase your shower pressure. Most new shower heads come with a water saver feature.

There could be some debris inside the cartridge that is causing this - or.... quite often we see the DYI'ers install the valve too far away from the shower head, this also causes lower pressure - contact the manufacturer of your shower valve and ask them how far apart they should be from each other.

all new shower heads have built in flow restricters, remove shower head, turn on faucet and check for flow, also look at shower head where it screws onto curved pipe and check for debris. I have ran into tub/shower faucet that was screwed up from factory that slowed flow down dramaticly.

Its possible that scaling material from soldering has clogged up the mixing valve main path ways. Turn off water to unit and dis-assemble unit from handle backward as far as you can. Clean each section and if it has screens on inlet sides ( hot and cold ) check them and clean if you need to. Its also possible to have a damaged mixing valve from excessive heat during installation. Good luck !

Wall jets? I take this as having several discharge points. If this is correct, I think you have a volume problem. You will most likely need to install a booster pump system.

Is it one of those energy saver shower heads? If it is, that will make the difference.
