Being the quirky and unpredictably contradictory creature that I am, there are days-weeks-maybe a month where I will not ever turn my t.v. set on. (I prefer music, reading, feeding my mind other ways, and exploring the caves of the unknown.)
Then I may feel like turning on the t.v., and my favorite show is "Ellen"~she makes me laugh if I'm having a crappy day without fail. My personality is very similar to hers, I've been told, and will watch just her 1hr (25min. without commercials) show every day for maybe a few weeks.If she's not on and I'm in a t.v "brainless" mood, my next choice of shows I like are "Cops", "Cheaters", and "Six Feet Under" reruns. As I am nocturnal by nature, usually if a t.v. mood strikes, I'm stuck with a night-full of infomercials. Then no t.v again for very long periods of time, so long that twice I have gone to turn perfectly good t.v. sets on and they just don't work. Dead. R.I.P. I therefore haven't the slightest on how to calculate this with a hypothesis to come up with an average of watching time per day (?)

Since I don't work, I am home a lot, the tv is one all the time, mostly for back ground noise, I am not sure how much I actually watch tho..not much.
Thursday night was my night of tv but since everything is off or in rerun, I don't have anything to watch on that night now--damn writers strike!

I watch about 5 hours p/week, which average out to about 45 minutes/day

It's on a lot but I am not watching all the time maybe 4-5 hours a day......comonnow, I'm a stay at home mommy......what else is there to do? ( I clean or play online while it's on.....)
