Yes, Ido. I have survived the deaths of every family member. I have made it throught an ileostomy and had to wear a colostomy bag for 4 months. I made it through the reversal and not being able to even drink water for 7 days. (I got to have only ice chips for 10 days besides that.)
I have learned to love living alone. I have learned to love being me.
I can do anything!

I absolutely luv the quote. William James knew exactly what he was talking about.
For most of my life I didn't believe in myself, I doubted myself with everything and more or less lead a nomadic lifestyle in that I was just existing for the purpose of simply breathing.
As my life has progressed, issues and events that have happened to me has made me question what I felt before - I've seen through my own eyes what happens when someone believes in themselves, and this happens to me everyday.
There are things on many levels I do not say to people, even those closest to me because I am not open to explaining and nor should I the speak of the sensitive issues that surround me and its because of the fact that I have this inner knowledge, the fact that I believe in myself which has got me where I am today.

Usually, yes, however I am human and sometimes it's not an easy thing to do. Everyone gets down about themselves from time to time, but the key is not to let that feeling linger for very long.

What is man's true self? Is it the selfish, egocentric, narrcisstic self that is everpresent in individuals. Or is it the altruistic, humble, magnanimous self that is rare in individuals today. I believe that this question needs to be answered first before we can get to yours.

Yes, I believe in myself. However a person can believe in himself and still fail. For example, if I believed I could fly and then jumped off of a building I don't think it would end well...

I believe in myself. I believe that I can achieve anything I put my mind and heart to. Nothing is imposible to the man who believes.
