I seem to remember fog in the midwest in December/January but cannot remember when. Or what the rest of that winter was like, anyone remember?

Global warming, climate change, call it whatever you want but nothing is the same as it use to be. I remember winters in New England when the snow was on the ground from October to March, now our summers are hot and humid, no rain, warm Fall, some Winters with no snow, its all changed. Nothing will ever be the same again.

No not in Dec. Here in Tn we had a dense fog last night and one other day this week. Around here we used to have an old wives tale that for every fog in August there would be a day of snow in Jan. Global Warming is changing a lot of things. It feels strange in a way to be witness to these things. We used to have some pretty good snows here and very very cold days in the winter. Not anymore. If anything we get a light blanket of snow and a lot of ice.

There has been a lot of fog in the Lowcountry of SC lately. It is very pretty, but dangerous driving too. Too many accidents have happened in the early morning hours.

Yes, we have been under a couple of freezing fog advisories. It is beautiful, almost magical, but you have to be extra careful walking or diving.
