i'm not going to say the tigers like the past twenty off you. Ill go out on limb and say the kansas city royals. Noting anything is an improvement for them they made a few good moves in signing Ron Mahay, Jose Guillen and Yasuhiko Yabuta this will make them a better team all round. Look for them too turn heads in the rest of the offseason and maybe in the 2008 regular season as well

Well, so far, the Tigers look like they made the most large moves... acquiring Miguel Cabrera, Dontrelle Willis, and Jacque Jones. They'll probably improve the most from these moves as well.
The Angels look better, acquiring Torii Hunter and Jon Garland.
The Dodgers were pretty active as well, acquiring Andruw Jones, Hiroki Kuroda, and Joe Torre (manager) - but all 3 are still a bit suspect as to how they'll perform.
I think Yankees did a great job in retaining their players: A-Rod, Andy Pettite, Jorge Posada, and Mariano Rivera.
No other team has really made a huge splash... I expected Johan Santana to be with the Red Sox a few weeks ago, but that's still iffy.

It's got to be the Tigers. I'm a huge Red Sox fan and even if we get Santana, the Tigers still had 10-times more positive activity. Don't get me wrong, I still think the Red Sox have the best shot are winning the AL pennent, but the Tigers are definately the most improved team going into the season and it's all thanks to their off-season moves.

I know that it has been said before, but I have the chime in and say that the continued implosion of talent in the Denver Bronco organization is the worst. McDaniels is retooling the team... into semi-pro land! You can't work out enough things to keep Cutler, you let go Marshall, and your QB's are weak to say the least. Orton is free agent after this season and they will not resign him, Quinn could not even keep a job in Cleveland... and Tebow? He was a great college QB... just like Heath Schuler, Tim Couch, Andre Ware, and Jamarcus Russell... McDaniels thought he was going to be cool and draft Tebow because he was so sure the Patriots wanted him.. another bad year in Denver. Best off-season move? Right now I have to go with the McNabb trade... not only does it shake up the NFC but Jason Campbell might just made the Raiders 8-8.

I like the Tigers too, but let's not forget the Astros. If Tejada has anything left in the tank, that is going to be a lineup to reckon with. (Berkman, Tejada, Lee, Pence). Plus they picked up Kaz Matsui who seemed to resurrect his career last season.
As for pitching, they brought in Jose Valverde to replace Lidge.

its a toss up btwn the Tigers and Diamondbacks. I would give the Tigers the edge bc Cabrerra is so good. But Haren is a better pitcher than Dontrel. (Speaking of which Dontrel 3 yrs $29mil)

Detroit, they have an amazing offensive line up and they already had some of the best young arms in baseball. I think they will definitely make things interesting in 08.......their manager takes no BS either so players will be accountable.
