I find that I honestly don't believe that America is ready to support Hillary Clinton or O'bama. I don't believe Edwards has much of a chance either.
I do like Biden or any other Democratic nominee. I refuse to vote Republican because I believe that they are the reason this country has deminished in stature and is in immenent danger from Russia or China or any other large country with nuclear capabilities,... and that includes Pakistan.
thanks

The statement that Clinton decreased defense spending is not accurate when compared to George H.W. Bush because Clinton increased the budget for defense spending right after he took office. Maybe not enough to suit Mr. Orph, but, he increased the previous budget approved by G.H.W. Bush.
thanks for the input, though

No you're not. It just shows that you're callin' 'em the way you see 'em and not a party. Good for you.

I believe your conclusions about Republicans are wrong. We are not diminished in stature and are not in imminent danger. The reason we are not is because Republicans strongly believe in our military and keep it fully funded. If you cannot support the Democratic big three you must look to the Republican party or to Independents for your candidate. Biden will not make it out of the early primaries. You must look at all parts of what they are saying. Higher taxes, lower taxes, health care, universal health care, education, social security, military spending all these are part and parcel of choosing the best person to lead this country. Take your time. Study all the candidates. Not just one parties all of them. Find the one person who you agree with the most and support him/her. If they don't become the candidate study the remaining people and make another choice. Be a well informed voter.

Could be, but remember this, a conservative is not necessarily a Republican. Hell, Bush isn't a true conservative.

Vote for the person who best aligns with your value system and beliefs for the country.

Personally, I voted for Clinton and I am a registered Republican. Clinton then rewarded me by slicing the hell out of the military budget and I was in the Army at the time. I don't know who will get my vote this time.

I can say this, the beauty of our process is that you can vote for whomever you want. So do just that.

It wasn't any one party that caused any of todays problems. It is a collective grouping of the nit wits we have in congress... I mean c'mon the dems ran 2 years ago on the platform of eliminating pork spending yet the budget they just submitted has close to 1000 pork projects hidden in it. They are all a bunch of liars who will say anything to keep their cush govt. jobs.

It sounds to me that you are a classical liberal, check out Dennis Kucinichs stances on the issues. He is my favorite Dem. I honestly think you will like him. I am a Republican who supports Ron Paul.
