The wii comes with a Wii remote and nunchuck, which are the controllers needed to play all wii games. If you want to play multiplayer, you'll need to buy at least 1 more of each. Also, for some virtual console games, you'll need either the classic controller or gamecube controller

cheers

Some games require only the Wii Remote while other games require you use both the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck. It's best to go ahead and buy both of them once you purchase your system. You can also buy the Wii Play game and get a Wii Remote with it for a discounted price. I recommend you take this opportunity.

You can continually buy batteries to put in the Wii remotes or you can purchase a Wii Charger. The Wii Charger has a spot for two remotes to "charge", and it comes with the rechargeable batteries. I recommend you purchase one of these too. They are about $30. In the long run you are saving your money because you aren't constantly running out to buy batteries. :)

If you have any further Wii questions, just shoot me an email, hun and I will help you figure it out.

Good luck and you will have SO MUCH FUN!

The controllers use AA batteries, can purchase rechargeable batteries and charger designed for the Wii. The game will come with one controller and no nunchuck, so buy two nunchuks and one more controller for two people to play.

The wii comes with one wiimote and one nuncjuk, the classic controller is useful for virtual console games so you might want to get one, also I suggest getting wii play as this comes with a free wiimote which is handy for multi player games, also another nunchuk would be good too.
