Does anyone know which place makes the good billy cook saddles?

Question

I know I have heard that the better/true billy cook saddles are made at one factory and the cheap ones at another.. but which is which?

If you are buying a Billy Cook, make sure you get one made in Sulpher OK. The ones made in Greenville Texas are the cheap knockoffs that got made after Billy Cook sold his name to the company a few years ago. If you want a genuine one, then it needs to come from Billy Cook in Sulpher OK.

I just googled Billy Cook saddles and came up with alot of links.
I can't help on which is the true/better cook saddles and which ones are the cheap ones, but I thought maybe you could tell by looking at them and such.

Paint Pony is correct and sad to say many items now stamped Billy Cook are made in Mexico and are rip offs made of cheap materials,be careful when you buy.

i dont know where you live, but i live in Ontario and Pleasant Ridge Saddlery in Brantford has the best deals on Billy Cooks. I have bought 3 from there. But i think they can ship them for you if you dont live in Ontario.
