White turkey meat, Mashed potatoes, with butter & Gravey, Corn maybe a little squash, pease OK. with home made bread.

For desert - Home made apple or blueberry pie

Late night snack, sliced turkey on toasted home made bread with a slop of mayo and another wedge of pie.

That is the FAVORITE. There is no second best.

I'm from a big Italian family & we eat in "courses". We start off with soup. Then we have lasagna, meatballs, pork, pasta, garlic bread & salad. Then we wait few hours (open some presents) & then we have ham, candied sweet potatoes, corn, broccoli, mashed potatoes, pineapple stuffing, cranberry sauce & salad. Then after an hour or two we have a huge spread of desserts.... cannoli's, cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, brownies... you name it!! All of our holidays are like this!! It's an All-Day Food Fest!!

I've been putting on Chrissy dinner now for 7yrs as Mum's getting old.I'm a good cook(no tags)so I do an array of seafood, salads coz it's hot here, the usual ham off the bone, roast chicken, bruscetta, dips & other munchies,& for dessert there's an assortment of fresh fruit, cheesecake, traditional pudding with custard, brandy sauce or icecream,or fruitmince tarts.(Don't do the turkey thing as no-one here likes it in my family)

This year I think my husband is going to fix ribeyes on the grill with mushrooms & onions. Plus we'll have a salad & steak fries. We stay as far away from tradition as we can get.

I'm making what my daughter wants to eat, it's only my daughter and myself. So somewhat of a repeat of Thanksgiving here, and that is turkey, twice baked potatoes, corn, jello with fruit in it, rolls and butter, appetizers, sparkling wine, and dutch apple pie.
