I would like to get another album from the beatles. Right now I have the red album and I want to get the blue album and Abbey road and revolver and those. But which is the best? Also, if you could, could you rate the movie Help! by them.

'Abbey Road' is, to me, nothing short of a masterpiece. It is an absolute tour de force, and has few peers in the history of rock music.

I wish that I had your Beatle innocence. It was so fun discovering "new" CD's, I have them all now. I like Revolver, Beatles for Sale, With the Beatles, Help, Sgt. Pepper, The Beatles (The White Album), and Abbey Road very much.

I've always favored Revolver and Side 2 of Abbey Road. Rubber Soul is very good also. I just added Magical Mystery Tour to my computer, and except for the title track, which I find to be pretty lame, the album is reasonably good. I OD'd on Sgt Pepper years ago, and the White Album has too many rough songs in it to make the top of my list. I'm not really into the earlier stuff.

The world's opinion is Sgt. Pepper. That's considered the best album ever made by anyone. I personally give the edge to Abbey Road. If you want the album that has lots of great songs that you don't hear on radio, then go with the White Album, that's their most experimental. Any one of those three, and you simply can't lose.

It's hard to choose but my favourites are The White Album and Abbey Road, maybe Revolver too.

Abbey Road for me, followed by Rubber Soul, Revolver, then the White Album.

Let it Be is a decent album of good old rock and roll, save for a bit of fussy production from Phil Spector. Still yet to hear Let it Be...Naked, the Paul McCartney production.

I love listening to Love, just for the sheer sound quality.

I don't know what Giles and Sir George Martin have done, but they've made everything sound ultra-ultra-fantastic.

Looking forward to the remasters.

1) The White Album
2) Abbey Road
3) Sgt. Pepper
4) Revolver
5) Beatles 65

The movie "Help" wasn't as good as "A Hard Days Night" but if you like The Beatles you will enjoy it. It's a comedy, Ringo has a ring that an eastern cult wants so they chase The Beatles around London and the Swiss Alps. The music is better than the movie.

I love most Beatles music and have every album, including LP's that are not on CD yet. My 4 favorites (not in any order) are:

Sgt.Pepper
Abbey Road
Magical Mystery Tour
and,the stereo version of A Hard day's Night.

The only way to get the Hard Day's Night songs in stereo today is to buy the Capitol years volume 1. set.The songs are split up on a couple of the discs.

Remember this, before you spend too much money, George and his son Giles Martin are remastering every album right now for the best sounding CD's yet. Sgt.Pepper's sound quality on the released Cd is poor compared to what they should be able to do with it today. The only problem is, who knows how long this will take them to do...

The new version of Help! is great if you have a surround sound sysytem. I don't really love any of the Beatles movies, but I do like this one a little more than A Hard Day's Night, and of course it's worth it for the music videos. The surround sound version of Yellow Sub is great if you have surround sound.

It's hard to pick favorites with the Beatles, but if I had to, I would choose in this order:

1. Sgt. Pepper's
2. Revolver
3. White Album
4. Abbey Road

I love them all, but Abbey Road is my all-time favorite album. They knew it would be their last and wanted to make it special, which they did. All 4 of the Beatles shine on this one, right down to Ringo and "Octopus' Garden!"
