Are you going to die someday? Is death change? Can you fight it forever? No. So change is going to happen. If you resist change and do not adapt you could do more harm to yourself then you can do good. Short answer: accept that change is going to happen.

There are some changes that are worth fighting. These are ones that you actually stand some chance of reversing. Unfortunately, they are few and far between. Most things that are changing are going to change whether you like it or not.
In those cases, fighting the inevitable, it's like a freight train coming down the tracks. You might not want it to, but it's coming through regardless of your feelings. Standing in front of it only gets you smushed. Sometimes it's better to jump on and enjoy the ride.
Myself, I try to accept change. It's the only constant.

My first instinct is always to fight it! However, as I've grown older, I have come to realize that change isn't always bad and shouldn't always be rejected out of hand. Now, I try to assess whether the change could be good and give it a chance. The prospect of change still usually scares me a little, though, and probably always will.

I usually fight it. But in some instances I go out of my way to make changes myself so that I feel that I have some control over it.

Depends on the change I guess... I have accepted and others I have fought. I try and compromised whenever possible, and when it is fair to both parties... So, I fight it and accept it, I guess. It all depends on what subject we're talking about. :-)

While I know change is inevitable, it's something I resist. Change usually means letting go and letting go means grieving and I don't particularily like grieving, although it's a good thing. Rountine, structure and predictability helps strengthen my sense of security. But change can be good.

It all depends on what the change is. I'm single and if there's a change I want to make I do it and when it comes to others wanting changes, I tell them it's their life and they need to decide for themselves.
