Well, to be honest, I don't know about Hungry Howie's, but I do know about a little place on the corner of Fifth & Main called Big Ed's Bar & Grill. Big Ed's is the home of the East side's BIGGEST stromboli. In fact Big Ed is so confident that you won't find a bigger stromboli that he offers this gaurentee; "If you show me a bigger stromboli, I'll shoot you in 'da groin!!!" Wow!!! What a guaruntee!!!

RE:
Do most pizza places, like Hungry Howies take checks?

That depends entirely on the city you live in. A lot of the ones where i live do, but I doubt they would do so in larger cities. I have never heard of hungry howies so i can't answer that any better than i have. Little Caesar's does NOT take checks where i live, so it's really up to the store itself. I usually use debit cards either way. Call them first to ask.

Most people use debit cards.
I don't know of any restaurant or fast food that takes checks.
UNLESS it is a corporate check and it is for a catering order.

No. They don't have time to pursue the bad checks that would be written. You would be better off trying to use a credit/debit card.
