just saw in the paper, 2008 census says average US consumption 51 gallons a year!
I'm sure there must be others like me, who have a soda maybe once every six months at the movies....so I guess some of y'all have Mountain Dew going in an IV?

mountain dew going thru an iv! haha thats really funny. i like that...
i drink soda because i dont like the tap water at work and i would have to pay for bottled water. and soda is free. i try not to drink alot, i dont drink like a 20oz a day...maybe all together a can of soda just at work. when i come home, i drink maybe 20oz.
wow....i mind as well have an iv of soft drink.....oops.....
but i do try to drink water....

I don't have the IV yet,,,but I drink 1 or 2 sodas a day...

I most likely drink up in that area. I drink either coffee, or diet caffiene free coke. And it is more soda than coffee, so I'd say up there.

i know what you mean. I don't drink pop but every once in a while i will have one when i have to work a long shift at work or havn't had much sleep. but that hardly ever happens. I drink mostly water.

I have to admit, I'm a soda addict. I can drink about 6 - 12oz cans a day...or more.

I don't drink soda at all. I drink water-based drinks, such as Kool Aid, iced tea, lemonade or just plan water.
