No, this is only the second year I haven't gotten a Christmas loan. I actually went to the bank and had a friend of mine who works there help get me on a stricter budget for 2008.

I think it's a really stupid thing to do.Think what you could do with the money you pay back in interest.I save all year with a Christmas savings scheme.We even get paid a little interest on the money we save.We can get our money out from mid november,so plenty of time to shop.

I would NEVER EVER do such a stupid thing!! I took half of my paychecks for a few months and did ALL my shopping on line starting in October. I ONLY got things for my kids, husband, and parents like I always do.
