Have you tried closing it manually.? Usually the locks opens back when doors are open. When you close all the doors do you see indication that your door is closed or open? If it's open there is a short wiring on the switches of the door. If closed there might be a relay issue on your car or central locking.

What make and model car? Most Japanese cars won't lock if the key is in the ignition or if the door pillar switch is bad. Got any interior light malfunctions? The door key lock sensor may also be stuck to the open position.
