You don't have to do anything you don't want to. Sounds like you need to start working on the ol' resume.
Seriously, even if you got moved to a different position, why would you want to be ANYWHERE near the whore? Makes no sense.
Leave or toughen up and stick it out. If she isn't with you, it's obvious it wasn't meant to be. Don't let that ruin your work/social life. It's not worth it.

You have no rights unless there is a corporate policy regsarding this sort of situation. So essentially its your problem and you will probably need to find work elseware.
Your employer is under no legal obligation to move you. Of course if your a viable part of the company I would think they would work with you but many companies could care less about the people that work for them so I an understand if they will not work with you.
I wish you luck!

Does your firm have an HR department ? If so I would speak to them, it is in their interests to keep staff at work rather than lose them. They may be able to sort out a suitable alternative. If your firm has an occupational health department I would speak to them too as they can support your request if it is causing stress. Involve your union rep if you have one.
It is tricky though and you do need some expert advice here. If none of the above are available to you then speak to Citizens Advice (presuming you are in the UK) as they will give free advice regarding your rights.

Your marital state and private relationships are not the responsibility of your employer. You can of course ask for consideration...but there is no duty placed upon your employer to move you.
If it is intolerable, it may well be that someone will have to leave.
Sorry to sound so negative, but this is the truth.

technically, it's harrassment, for your boss to not move you, it's unfair treatment, and emotionally devastating... the only thing I can suggest is go to your local unemployment office and see what your options are... if your workplace has an open door policy, they are supposed to listen to your requests... and make reasonable accommodations... go to unemployment, perhaps they could point you to the right people... then go to the labor board...
good luck...
ps...an ex boyfriend of mine got fired because of rumors he was spreading around the plant about me... that workplace had 3 strikes policy, and that was his third strike, so, he was out of there... report any gossip going around, or unfair treatment, it's your work place's job to put a stop to it...
and I agree w/ a comment below me, perhaps you need a better job to afford a lawyer, but, she will probably go for more alimony, huh? sigh... child support too? sigh...

You don't want to work with her and her lover. Understandable, but that is your problem. And you expect your boss to simply solve your problem for you.
You are not forced to do anything, except to deal with your own problems. Because your boss doesn't solve your problem for you, you feel you're being forced out of a job.
No dude. He's your boss and if you want a situation to change because of your emotional problems, YOU deal with it.
Is this also why she left you?
