Brightest Blessings on this Yule season. Actually I am not holding my observation today, I am holding it tomorrow evening. I am going to do a small intimate cricle . Then having a party for friends and neighbors around an outside bonfire (it's actually going to be above 20 degrees F for the first time in a long time), with a pot luck meal, home-brewed Meads and Wines and a token gift exchange.

Brightest Blessings,
Raji the Green Witch

Actually, Solstice is tomorrow in my part of the world. But I decorated the altar all gold and sparkly last night. I wear my sun jewelry, and dress in black, because I am mourning the sun. Tomorrow we will have a bread and soup supper, and gather around the altar. I like to have some time for quiet comtemplation outside, in the dark an d cold. And spend part of the day doing things that are related to surviving the winter..putting food by, cleaning the garden, winterizing the house or the animals enclosures, etc.

If the weather is OK, we have a bonfire.
