I never consider such statement as an acceptable one. There is sufficient religious bias in this statement to please the muslim voters of the state of Gujarat which has been in a highly volatile situation in terms of religious faith and related matters. She is immature in many ways. This is just another.
Did she ever made a statement condemning terrorism in Kashmir or any other parts of India using similar uncivilsed and irresponsible language? She didn't.There lies the real problem.I am not suggesting that she should have made similar statements on such terrorism. She will never do so.It is because , she has been told by the script writers not to do so , because that will hurt the muslim sentiment of this country which has been the Congress vote bank for a long time. She never uttered the phrase "muslim terrorism" or "muslim terrorists".This was a deliberate statement to arouse pro muslim feelings among the muslims of Gujarat, which is counter productive. Her script writers should take care of Hindu sentiments as well.I am referring to script writers, because, her speeches are mostly written by others maintaining close relation with her.She hardly understands the meaning or the implication of such wordings.......hence, the fault lies with her script writer(s).
