I'm pretty annoyed about it, but should I tell my family and friends considering some already know and its going to get out anyway?

Hey I was driving for 20yrs, left NY to move to NC, took the written exam, and by the way, I didn't study the book because I figured I was an experienced driver and I should know these things and I failed the written test!
Couldn't believe it!
I laughed.
One of the questions was, "how do you pass another vehicle when driving?"
Well, I answered like most would, put on directionals, look to make sure it was clear. Wrong!
In NC, you have to put your directional on, HONK your horn and then proceed with caution.
If you did that in NY, you get the finger, or get shot.

I would tell people but only your close family/friends. You should let your family know, at least, because otherwise they might assume you can drive and ask you to drive places and that would be illegal and pose a great risk to all of us who use the roadways lawfully.
But failing a driving test isn't a big deal. You should hear how many times I failed MY test. (Let's put it this way, once doesn't look so bad from where I'm standing.) But once I finally did, I turned out to be the safest driver in my family.
Don't feel too bad about it. If they gave you a sheet on your test detailing what you did wrong, look at your mistakes and try to practice doing those things right. If no sheet, just practice some more with a responsible driver. With lots of practice and a little luck, you will pass your driving test the second time around. Good luck!

try to hold out as long as possible. if you don;t have your own car yet they they aren;t going to let you drive thier cars cuz you might wreck it. instead study hard adn try to take the test asap

dont worry u have 2 more tries before u have to pay again.. well i dunno if that goes for all states
u dont have to tell any1 but if some1 asks tell the truth... good luck on ur next test im rootin 4 ya...
